Following are the main features of the Mitel Wireless LAN
Adapter:
• Adds robust, secure wireless capabilities to Ethernet
devices: The Mitel Wireless LAN Adapter enables any
Ethernet device to become an 802.11a/b/g/n dual band
wireless network device, so that the device can be oper-
ational anywhere in your facility.
• Dual band IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n support: The adapter is
designed to communicate in the 2.4-GHz and 5-GHz
bands. Radio interference encountered in the commonly
used 2.4-GHz band can be avoided by using the 5-GHz
band.
• Gigabit Ethernet support: The wired LAN port supports
10/100/1000BASE-T (auto-recognition).
• Simple to set up and use: It is easy to set up the adapter
using the enclosed network setup cable. No special driv-
ers or software are required.
• Enterprise security: The Mitel Wireless LAN Adapter sup-
ports the following security functions:
– WEP (64 Bit/128 Bit)
– WPA-PSK (TKIP/AES)
– WPA2-PSK (AES)
– IEEE 802.1X EAP-PEAP, EAP-TLS, EAP-TTLS, EAP-
FAST, EAP-LEAP
