The negative torque control device moves the
control
stroke
intermediate-speed control range to increase
the injection quantity in proportion to engine
speed and therefore prevent insufficient en-
gine output resulting from insufficient fuel in-
jection at high speeds. (Refer to Fig. 37.)
Figure 37 shows the control characteristics of a
combination governor equipped with the nega-
tive torque control device.
