4.10.7 Removal and installation of the engine doors

Extend the powerplant completely via the manual extension switch.

Remove the engine door spring. To accomplish this remove the spring pins

from the pins of the front engine door hinges, press the spring and pull it off
from the hinges.
Remove the spring pins from the hinge pins of all hinges. Lift off the engine

doors.
4. Assembly is the reverse of disassembly.

4.10.8 Securing the fuel hoses with lockwire

Several hoses in the fuel system are secured with lock wire, they are marked
with z in diagram 15.
Use lock wire with 0.8mm (0.032 in.) diameter (eg. Wire SS 1LB).
When refitting the hose, the lock wire should be wrapped twice around the hose
over the nipple and twisted with special lock-wire pliers (see sketch) 5 rotations
in clockwise sense.
When the fuel hose is fitted with a metal shielding, the lock wire must be
applied on top of the shielding.
