A.3 Parameter assignment and structure of the module and channel

Structure of data record 128
Data record 128 has a length of
● 108 bytes in digital-only mode and
● 332 bytes in mixed mode.
It contains module parameters and all channel or technology parameters of the 16 channels.
In digital-only mode, there are 6 bytes of parameters per channel. These are subdivided into
parameters for digital outputs and parameters for digital inputs.
In mixed mode, 20 bytes of parameters are required for each channel. These are subdivided
into parameters for configuration of the digital outputs, for configuration of the digital inputs
and for configuration of the analog inputs including HART.
You can specify and change other parameters and HART-specific settings with data records
131 to 146. See section HART-specific settings (Page 90).
