If you use simple sensor contacts, you will need to connect a resistor in parallel to allow wire break diagnostics when the

contacts are open (sensor resistance for wire break diagnostics: 15 kΩ to 18 kΩ).
When the time stamp (accuracy 1 ms) is enabled, the input delay on all channels is switched off and the pulse stretching

and hardware interrupt for rising/falling edge is disabled on all channels (not adjustable).

Unused channels
In the parameter assignment, "disable" analog inputs that are not used. You can then use
these inputs as digital inputs.
Parameter dependencies in mixed mode
You can operate each of the module's 16 inputs either as digital inputs or as analog inputs.
You can operate each of the module's 16 outputs either as digital outputs or as sensor supplies
for the corresponding inputs. If you operate an output as a sensor supply, it is switched on
when the corresponding input is enabled. All output diagnoses are assigned to the
corresponding input.
