Configuring MSDP
Before You Begin
An MSDP default peer must be a previously configured MSDP peer. Before configuring a default MSDP
peer, you must first configure an MSDP peer.
SUMMARY STEPS
1. enable
2. configure terminal
3. ip msdp default-peer {peer-address | peer-name} [prefix-list list]
4. exit

Configuring an MSDP Mesh Group
Purpose
Enables privileged EXEC mode.
• Enter your password if prompted.
Enters global configuration mode.
Configures a default peer from which to accept all MSDP
SA messages
Exits global configuration mode and returns to privileged
EXEC mode.
