Configuring the IGMP Leave Timer (CLI)

You can configure the leave time globally or on a per-VLAN basis. Follow these steps to enable the IGMP
configurable-leave timer:

Purpose
Enables privileged EXEC mode. Enter your password if
prompted.
Enters the global configuration mode.
Enables IGMP Immediate Leave on the VLAN interface.
Note
To disable IGMP Immediate Leave on a VLAN, use
the no ip igmp snooping vlan vlan-id
immediate-leave global configuration command.
Returns to privileged EXEC mode.
Verifies that Immediate Leave is enabled on the VLAN
interface.
Returns to privileged EXEC mode.
