Starter

Replace faulty starters immediately.
You can recognize a faulty starter by the blackened ends of the (UV) low
pressure lamps or when the (UV) low pressure lamps can no longer be start-
ed.
Operating a (UV) low pressure lamp with a faulty starter significantly shortens
its service life. The (UV) low pressure lamp loses power and may begin to
flicker under certain circumstances.
The starters are located in either one of the two lamp sockets or become
visible when the (UV) low pressure lamps are removed.
Turn 90° and carefully remove from the socket.
