Configuring SP+WRR queuing

Configuration procedure

The congestion management settings on the HPE 3100 v2 Switches Series are made in system view
and apply to all ports of the switch.
To configure SP + WRR queuing:
Step
1.
Enter system view.
2.
Enable WRR queuing on
the switch.
3.
Assign a queue to the SP
group.
4.
Assign a scheduling weight
for a queue in the WRR
group.

Configuration example

Network requirements
Configure SP+WRR queue scheduling on the switch as follows:
Assign queue 3 and queue 2 to the SP group.
Assign queue 0 and queue 1 to the WRR group, with the weights 6 and 8, respectively.
Configuration procedure
# Enter system view.
<Sysname> system-view
# Enable the SP+WRR queue scheduling algorithm on the switch.
[Sysname] qos wrr global
[Sysname] qos wrr global 3 group sp
[Sysname] qos wrr global 2 group sp
[Sysname] qos wrr global 0 group 1 weight 6
[Sysname] qos wrr global 1 group 1 weight 8

Remarks

Optional.
By default, WRR queuing is enabled on
the switch.
By default, all the ports use the WRR
queue scheduling algorithm.
The SP group can only have queue 3
and queue 2. When you assign these
two queues to the group, you must
start with queue 3. When you remove
them from the group, you must start
with queue 2.
By default, WRR is used, and the
weights of queues 0 through 3 are 1, 2,
3, and 4, respectively.
