2-1-4. Removing the Rear Panel
(HDCU1000/1080)
1. Remove the upper cover.
2. Disconnect the harness from the connector CN104 on
the SDP-12 board.
3. Remove the eleven screws.

4. Disconnect the harness from connector CN1 on the
CN-2718 board.
5. Remove the rear panel in the direction of the arrow.
6. Disconnect the harness B from connector CN15 on the
CN-2672 board.
7. Disconnect the flexible card wire from the connector
CN6 on the CBN-21 board.

8. Install the rear panel in the reverse order.

2-1-5. Replacing the SDP-12 Board
(HDCU1000/1080)
1. Remove the rear panel. (Refer to Section 2-1-4.)
2. Remove the five screws, and remove the cover and the
harness guide.
3. Remove the two hexagonal bolts.

4. Disconnect the harness from the connector CN103 on
the SDP-12 board.
5. Disconnect the optical cables from the connectors
CP201 and CP401 on the SDP-12 board.

When disconnecting the optical cables, disconnect the
cables holding the blue portion of the plug.
6. Remove the two screws and remove the SDP-12 board.

7. Reinstall the SDP-12 board by reversing the steps of
removal.

. When connecting the optical cables, push them in
the connectors until a click sound is heard.
. Connect optical cable 1 to the connector CP201, and
optical cable 2 to the connector CP401. If they are
connected to incorrect positions, the signal will not
be output.
