2-1-6. Replacing the MB-1071 Board
(HDCU1000/1080)
1. Remove the rear panel. (Refer to Section 2-1-4.)
2. HDCU1000:
Pull out the two HIF-25 boards, the SDI-85 board, the
SDI-86 board, and the CN-2674 board in the direction
of the arrow.
HDCU1080:
Pull out a HIF-25 board, the SDI-85 board, the SDI-86
board, and the CN-2674 board in the direction of the
arrow.

3. Remove the screw securing the VIF stopper.
4. Disconnect the two flexible card wires from connec-
tors CN8 and CN9 on the CNB-21 board, and pull out
the VIF-34 board in the direction of the arrow.
5. Disconnect the flexible card wire from the connector
CN7 on the CNB-21 board, and pull out the ADO-10
board in the direction of the arrow.

6. Pull the lever in the direction of the arrow and remove
all the plug-in boards.

7. Remove the three screws and remove the rear board
fixing plate.

8. Remove the switching regulator.
