CHAPTER 5 TROUBLESHOOTING
Save location of log files
The original log files of the log files to
send are saved on the user computer.
The maximum size of the log files is
approx. 200 MB. Once this limit is
exceeded, old data is deleted. Data is
also deleted after one year has passed.
For users who does not want to increase
the disk usage, ask the users to delete
these as necessary from the save
locations shown below.
1) Windows XP
C:\Documents and Settings
\All Users\Application Data
\Canon Electronics\Scanner Drivers\log
2) Windows Vista/7
C:\ProgramData\Canon Electronics
\Scanner Drivers\log
Reference: Displaying log files
Although the content of the log files
cannot
software, it can be displayed in text
format by using a dedicated application.
