Switching on and off

To Start the rotary tool
1. Attach the battery pack
2. Press the I side of the On/Off
switch. This turns on the
display ready for the tool to
start. The actual tool will not
start at this point and the
display should read 00.
3. To start the actual tool, press
the increase speed button (7)
once. The display will read 08,
and the tool will start at approx
8000 RPM
4. To increase the speed further,
hold the increase speed button
down and the speed will
increase in increments, along
with the display until the speed
reaches approx 30000 rpm
and the display shows 30.
5. To reduce the speed, hold
down the decrease speed
button (6) until the desired
speed it displayed.
6. To stop the rotary tool at any
time, press the O side of the
On/Off switch. The tool will
stop, and the display will turn
off.
7. On restarting when the On/Off
switch is turned on, the display
will show 00 and the speed of
the tool will need to be reset.
8. Speed selection also depends
on the material being cut, so
trials are suggested on scrap material first.
If material is burning, reduce speed and also pressure on
the tool.
Faster speeds are also suggested for grinding as slower
speeds have a tendency to clog the wheel.
Sanding is performed as fast as possible without burning
the surface of the material.

Holding the tool

1. For jobs such as milling or engraving where precision is
required, hold the mini-drill like a pen.
2. For heavier work like cutting or grinding hold the machine
in the palm of your hand.

Changing accessories

1. Make sure that the tool is
switched off. Remove the
battery from the Rotary
tool before you commence
accessory changeover.
2. Loosen and tighten the collet
fully using the small wrench
provided (always ensure bits
are tight before commencing
any work with your tool).
3. Press and hold down the
spindle lock button (5) and
unscrew the collet nut (6) with
the small wrench.
4. The rotary tool is supplied with
a 3.2mm collet. The collet will
clamp tools with a spindle size
between 3mm and 3.2mm.
The collet nut does not need
to be fully removed unless the
collet needs to be changed.
5. To fit an accessory, after
loosening the collet, slide the
accessory spindle all the way
into the collet chuck. While
