conditions causing the original excessive temperature
has been corrected.
Low voltage cut out
The battery pack used on this tool is fitted with a low
voltage cut out feature within the circuitry.
The low voltage cut out feature operates when the voltage
drops below a preset value. This feature automatically
stops the tool from operating (similar to that of the over
load condition). When this condition occurs you will need
to either insert another battery into the tool or recharge the
existing battery.
The low voltage cut out feature has been added to
maximise the tool's life. When this occurs, recharge the
battery pack by following the battery charging section in
this manual.
Note: Attempting to restart the tool without either recharging
the battery or installing another battery (with charge) will
lead to the tool restarting and then stopping again, after only
a few seconds of operation.
Product Work light.
A number of tools in the combination set are fitted with an
LED work light and also a battery charge indicator.
The LED work light automatically comes on when the trigger
is pressed. The work light cannot be operated without the
tool being turned on.
The LED work light is a fixed light and cannot be altered. It
is aimed at the point where the fitted accessory (ie Drill Bit)
makes contact with the work piece.
The battery level indictors are fitted on the same panel as
the work light.
There are 3 coloured lights in total.
When the green light is illuminated, the battery is more-or-
less fully charged.
When the centre orange light is illuminated, and the green
light is not, the battery is approximately 50% charged.
When the red light is glowing and the orange and green
indiicators are not, the battery charge is approx 25% or less
and recharging is advised.
To check the battery level, depress the trigger fully and
allow the tool to run freely. Observe the 3 lights to determine
the approximate level of charge.
