3.4. Placing the entry pillar

Adjust the level of the
entry portal with the
spirit level and check
that the pillar and gate
are in parallel.

Mark the boreholes for the
foundation. Use the base
plate as a stencil for this
purpose. Open the gate
slightly. Remove the entry
pillar and make the boreholes
using an 18 mm drill bit.

Insert the threaded rods
with rotary movement
into the bore-hole. The
ends of the threaded rods
must project at least 60
mm over the foundation.
Allow the resin anchor to
cure in accordance with
the specification.

1. Close the gate such
that the roller rail lies
flush against the lower
edge of the bottom bar
(depends on the type of
gate).
2. Adjust the entry
height such that the
clearance between the
gate and the ramp is at least 5 mm. Improper adjustment en-hances
the risk of a fault caused by a very large force required for the gate
entry movement.
