11.1 Certifications
This Car Seat conforms to all Federal Motor Vehicle Safety
Standards for use in motor vehicles and aircraft. See use modes
below:
TO DDLER CAR SEAT Mode (
This restraint IS certified for use in motor vehicles and aircraft.
BO OSTER CAR SEAT Mode (
This restraint is NOT certified for use in aircraft.
11.2 Installation an Use on Aircraft
Only the Toddler Car Seat WITH Harness is approved for use
on aircraft. High-back and Backless Booster Car Seats can't be
used on aircraft as there are no lap/shoulder belts available to
properly restrain a child.
When using th e Toddler Car Seat on an aircraft, follow the
installation steps in "Installation - Lap Belt only
Tether" section and secure your child per "Securing Your Child"
section.
