8.0 Booster Car Seat ( Without Built-in
Harness) Installation and Use
NOTE: LATCH or Top Tether may be used to secure the High-back
Booster Car Seat in position. Securing the High-back Booster
Car Seat in the vehicle can make it easier for a child to get in
and out of the High-back Booster Car Seat (see, Section 7.3.1).
To secure car seat and your child:
1. Assemble the Back Support (see "Assembly and Removal of Back
Support" section).
2. Remove harness system (see "Harness Removal and Assembly"
section).
3. Tuck harness adjuster belt up under front of seat base.
4. Place the car seat on the vehicle seat in a
seating location equiped with a vehicle
Lap/Shoulder belt and centered between
the Lap/Shoulder belt anchorages (see
"Selecting a Vehicle Seating Locations" section).
WARNING!
• Do not place the High-back Booster
C ar Seat in a seating position that
ha s only a vehicle lap belt.
