If both still inoperative, shut off alterna-
tors and turn on emergency alternator field
switch.
(h)
Repeat steps (c) thru (e) for each alternator.
(i)
If still inoperative, shut off alternators and
prepare to terminate flight.
FLIGHT INSTRUMENTS
OBSTRUCTION OR ICING OF STATIC SOURCE
(1)
Alternate Static Source - OPEN.
Alternate static
source is for pilot's instruments only when dual
static system is installed.
(2)
Excess Altitude and Airspeed - MAINTAIN to compen-
sate for change in calibration.
NOTE
eRefer to Pilot's Checklist for accurate
airspeed and altimeter corrections with
alternate static source OPEN.
eBe sure the alternate static source is
closed for all normal operations.
VACUUM PUMP FAILURE (Attitude and Directional Gyros)
(1)
Failure indicated by left or right red failure
button exposed on vacuum gage.
(2)
Automatic valve will select operative source.
(3)
Assure proper vacuum is available from operative
source.
