5 Press and hold the  button to start the Selective Call.
The display shows the ID of the target radio.
6 Release the  button to listen.
7 Press
to return to the Home screen.
If you do not press
button to hang up, your radio will remain
in Selective Call state with the other unit. You will miss all
subfleet traffic and incoming phone calls.


This feature allows you to define a group of conventional
system users so that they can share the use of a conventional
channel.

Encryption keys are associated to talkgroups. When
talkgroups are enabled, encryption keys are changed
by changing the active talkgroup. See Secure
Operations on page 77 for more information.
