3.4.4 Push handle height adjustment

(4) In order to adjust the height
• loosen the star knob screws (D),
• adjust to the desired height and then turn the
star knob screws (D) tightly.
ATTENTION
The push handles are only to be used to PUSH
someone in the chair; NOT TO CARRY THEM:

3.4.5 Adjusting the push height

(5) At delivery the height of the push handle is in the
lowest basic setting for a normal pushing height. You
are able to change the height up to 10 cm higher.
Remove the star knob screws (A) completely
on both sides (including half shells),
• slide the push handle up far enough so that
the holes (B) become visual in the guide slot
at the bottom end of the section tube.
place the star knob screws (A) (including
half shells) in both of these holes (B) and
tighten them.

3.4.6 Push handle angle adjustment

In addition to the height adjustment of the push
handle, you can also change the angle.
• (6) Open the eccentric clamps (A) on both
sides of the push handle,
• adjust the handle to the position wanted
• and lock the eccentric clamps (A) again.
ATTENTION
(6) The clamp lever (A) of the eccentric clamps is
attached on the inside of the handle with a self-
locking nut (6)
ATTENTION
(6) Under unfavorable circumstances by turning
the clamp lever (A) the nut (B) can loosen and
get lost. THE PUSH HANDLE IS THEN NO LONGER
OPERATIVE.
ATTENTION
Check the functionality and the completeness of
the eccentric clamp regularly and in short intervals!
