Safety Instructions

For your safety, be sure to read and follow all notices and instructions.
1.
Do NOT expose this equipment to rain or moisture.
2.
Do NOT place anything on top of the unit that might spill or fall into it.
3.
Do NOT open the equipment. Opening or removing covers can expose you to
dangerous high voltage or other hazards. ONLY qualified service personnel
should service or disassemble this equipment. Please contact your vendor for
service.
4.
Do NOT overload wall outlets or power extension cord.
5.
Do NOT cover the openings on the enclosure to avoid overheating.
6.
Do make sure the voltage of the power source is correct before connecting the
equipment to the power outlet.
7.
Do disconnect equipment from power source to protect it from damaged by tran-
sient over voltage if it will not be used for a long time.
8.
Do ground the equipment to reduce the risk of electric shocks.
9.
Do keep environment with good ventilation.
10.
Do remove AC power before cleaning. Use a damp cloth.
11.
Do NOT use liquid or spray detergents for cleaning.
12.
DO NOT LEAVE THIS EQUIPMENT IN AN ENVIRONMENT WHERE THE
STORAGE TEMPERATURE MAY GO BELOW -40° C (-40° F) OR ABOVE 85°
C (185° F). THIS COULD DAMAGE THE EQUIPMENT. THE EQUIPMENT
SHOULD BE IN A CONTROLLED ENVIRONMENT.
WEEE Regulation
WEEE regulation means the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Regulation.
Its goal is to avoid the potential effects on the environment and human health as a
result of the presence of hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equip-
ment. End users of electrical and electronic equipment should understand the mean-
ing of the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol as shown left. Do not dispose of WEEE as
unsorted municipal waste and have to collect such WEEE separately.
