Install MAP

MAP, Management Access Program, can link to the NIC using the exclusive alternating IPX
channel even if the network is not in TCP/IP protocol environment. To use MAP, it is necessary
that Web browser and TCP/IP protocol are installed in your computer.
Notes:
Use TopAccess when your computer and the printer are connected in network with
TCP/IP protocol.
There are some different items that can be setup in MAP and not in TopAccess. Please
do not change any other items except the items at NetWare Setup page of MAP.

To change some settings at MAP, the password must be entered to submit the change.

Do not forget the password. Otherwise, you can no longer change the settings at MAP.

Start Windows

• The menu screen appears.

Requirements
Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows 2000, Windows NT 4.0, Windows
XP
IPX/SPX and TCP/IP must be installed.
For Windows 95/98, just install TCP/IP. It does not have to be set up.
Internet Explorer 4.0 or later, Netscape Navigator 4.0 or later.
