7 Press the IP Address button.
• Press the Subnet Mask and Gateway buttons
to assign the Subnet Mask and Gateway
Address if necessary.
Enter the IP address to be assigned.

• Enter with the numeric keys (0 to 9).
• Move the cursor using the ← or → button.
• To halt assigning the IP address, press the
CANCEL button.
• You cannot enter any number exceeding 255.
• The following address cannot be assigned.
IP Address 0.0.0.0
Subnet Mask 255.255.255.255 and 0.0.0.0

Press the SET button.
The IP address has been assigned

and the display returns to showing
the Setting screen.

Assign the Subnet Mask and the
Gateway Address according to the
requirements.
Note:
After assigning the IP address, turn off the power of this machine and then on or reset
the printer by referring to the section on Resetting the Printer. The IP address assigned
becomes valid after the machine is restarted.
