TCP/IP Printing Service Setup
When using Windows NT as the print server, utilize the Microsoft TCP/IP Printing services.
When using Windows NT 4.0 as the client, refer to the OPERATOR'S MANUAL / FOR
PRINTER FUNCTION.
Check the following before setting up:
• Connect this machine and the computer to the network.
• Turn on the power of this machine.
• Assign the IP address to this machine.
• Check that TCP/IP Protocol and Microsoft TCP/IP Printing are installed in Windows NT. If
not, install them.
Confirming the TCP/IP Print Services
Click on Start and choose Settings.

Choose Control Panel.

Double-click on Network.

Click on the Services tab.

Check that Microsoft TCP/IP Printing
is displayed on Network Services. If
not, install it.
