4. In Communication Mode select TCP/IP — see Figure 5.5.
5. Enter the NetGuardian IP Address.
6. Press Set.
7. Proceed with configuration.
Note : The port is set to 2002 by default.
The NetGuardian's default IP Address is 192.168.1.100 and a default Subnet Mask of 255.255.0.0. See section
4.5.1 (Preliminary Network Connection) to configure the NetGuardian to be in the same Subnet as your computer
or network using only a TCP connection.

Editor Toolbar

You can use the Editor toolbar to start a new session, open saved configurations, save configurations, save
configurations as, delete saved configurations, write to the NetGuardian 216, read from the NetGuardian 216, or
exit a session — see Figure 5.7 for icon definitions.
