Will there ever be any updates to the Yap Jack
Plus?
A
Sometimes the internal software (firmware) that
runs the Yap Jack Plus is upgraded. You can
upgrade easily via the Upgrade function in the
main menu.

Does the Yap Jack Plus work internationally?
A
Yes, the Yap Jack Plus will work anywhere in
the world, as long as your Internet provider
uses the PPP standard. (However, an
international power adapter may be necessary.)
Q
When I am in Stay Connected mode, and the
party I was speaking to hangs up, the LCD still
displays "Call in Progress." Is there a problem?
A
No, simply hang up your telephone handset to
end the current call. The display will show that
you are still connected, along with the
connection timer display. To place another call,
pick up your telephone handset, and dial the
telephone number. To disconnect from the
ISP, press the Menu/Exit button.
Q
When I dial, the display shows "Call in Progress"
but I cannot contact my party.
A
It may be that you have run out of funds.
Please try to make the call again, and if it does
not go through, please contact your
reseller/distributor to check that you have
enough funds in your account to place a call.
