ISP Configuration Sub-Menu

ISP Configuration enables you to enter the following dial-
up information for your ISP:
Field Name
Primary ISP
(sub-menu)
Backup ISP
(sub-menu)
Use Dial Prefix
Dialing Prefix
ISP Redial
DNS 1, DNS 2
Yap Jack Plus User's Guide – Chapter 4
Description
Enter dial-up information for
your primary ISP or primary
access number.
Enter dial-up information for
your backup ISP or
secondary access number.
Specify if the Yap Jack Plus
should use a prefix before
dialing the ISP phone
number.
Specify the prefix (e.g., 9,)
that should be dialed before
the Yap Jack Plus dials the
ISP phone number.
Specify the number of times
the Yap Jack Plus should try
redialing in the event that
the first attempt to connect
to the ISP is unsuccessful.
The default setting is 3, and
you can choose from 1 to 5.
Utilized only if your ISP does
not provide the Yap Jack
Plus with DNS addresses
during dial-up or if your dial-
up's DNS blocks access to
Net2Phone's network.
