Device Setup Sub-Menu

Device Setup enables you to configure the following Yap
Jack Plus options:
Field Name
Call Waiting
C-W Enable Code
C-W Block Code
Modem Country

Description
This field tells the device if you
have the Call Waiting feature
active (select In Use) on your
telephone line or not active
(select Not in Use). The default
setting is Not in Use.
Some telephone systems need
to receive an Enable Code to
turn the Call Waiting feature
back on after you've
disconnected from your ISP. If
you're not sure whether you
need this code or not, check
with your local telephone
company.
If you have selected the In Use
setting for Call Waiting, then
you must enter the Call
Waiting Block code in this
field. This code will turn off the
feature while you're placing
calls using the device. You
must provide this code or your
Yap Jack Plus call will be
dropped when another call
comes in. If you're not sure of
what the code is, check with
your local telephone company.
To activate the appropriate
modem standards for your
country, enter your country
code. See page 40 for a list of
country codes. The default
country code is 1 (United
States).
