PATH LENGTH SELECTION

3.2.1 Known Path Length Measurements

3.2.2 Unknown Path Length Measurements

The auto path length measurement setting will firstly measure a sample using the 0.5mm path
length setting. If the measured photometric value is within range, the value will be displayed on
screen and no more measurements are taken. If however the measured value is over-range, the
sample will be re-measured using the 0.2mm path length setting.

If the required measurement path length is
known it can be selected by pressing the button
adjacent to the 0.2mm or 0.5mm path length
setting icons. The selected setting is indicated
by an icon with a black background. Once the
required path length setting has been selected
press the button adjacent to the tick icon to
confirm.
If the required measurement path length is not
known in selected modes the auto path length
setting can be selected by pressing the button
adjacent to the auto path length setting icon.
Once the auto path length setting has been
selected press the button adjacent to the tick
icon to confirm.
