Operating Instructions

WARNING: TO AVOID POSSIBLE FIRE HAZARD AND DAMAGE TO THE UNIT, THE 8-IN-1 GRILL STATION
MUST BE USED WITH BOTH UPPER/LOWER PLATES INSTALLED AT ALL TIMES.
1. Place the 8-IN-1 Grill Station on a dry, clean, flat counter top surface.
WARNING: Always make sure the 8-IN-1 Grill Station is unplugged and completely cooled before
changing plates.
2. Depending on your cooking use, select and install cleaned and conditioned upper and lower plates.
3. Before Use: Use a heat-proof brush or paper towel dipped in vegetable oil to lightly coat the upper
and lower cooking plates to encourage even browning.
4. For health-conscious cooks, the non-stick coating of the cooking plates assures crisp and delicious
toasting without the use of oil or butter.
IMPORTANT: Do not use non-stick sprays as they can cause build-up on the cooking plates.
Use vegetable or olive oil instead.
5. CAUTION: To avoid personal injury or damage to property, when grilling juicy or fatty foods,
always make sure removable grease catcher cups are in position under the grease drains on the
outside corners of the open plates. (See Figure 6.)
6. When using your 8-IN-1 Grill Station as a contact grill (closed position), position 1 removable grease
catcher cup directly under the grease drain located on the right side of the front of the unit.
(See Figure 1.)
CAUTION: To avoid personal injury or damage to property, always make sure grease catcher cups
are placed on a flat, stable surface and positioned directly under each grease drain before placing
food on the cooking plates.
7. Preheat the 8-IN-1 Grill Station. Following recipe directions, turn the temperature control dial
from 350°F to 425°F. Use the handle to lower the lid.
NOTE: Unless the Grill Station is being used as a full grill/griddle in the open position,
always operate the unit empty and closed during preheat.
8. Check to make sure the cord does not come in contact with any exterior parts of the unit.
Plug the unit into a 120V AC electrical outlet. The red POWER light will illuminate
and remain lighted during use.
9. While preheating, prepare food to be cooked.
