4. PRE-OPERATION SETTINGS AND PROCEDURES

Offset/Gain Settings

To change the I/O characteristics, follow the chart below.
The factory settings are:
Voltage input ..... Offset value : 0 V
Gain value
Current input ..... Offset value : 0 mA
Gain value
Start
Connect terminals 1 and 3 to put the modul
into the TEST mode.
Set the channel select switch on the front of
the module to the required channel number.
(Do not set to channels 0 or 9.)

Apply offset voltage to the input terminal of the
channel to be changed. Set the OFFSET
switch to the ON position. When the RUN LED
goes ON, the applied voltage is stored in th
A68ADN as the offset value.
Apply gain voltage to the input terminal of the
channel to be changed. Set the GAIN switc
to the ON position. When the RUN LED goes
ON, the applied voltage is stored to the
A68ADN as the gain value.
Has the settin
of all channels
been completed?
YES
Open the circuit across TEST terminals.
Finish
: 5 V
: 20 mA
NO Current
Switch the required offset current to the chan-
nel to be changed. Set the OFFSET switch to
the ON position. When the RUN LED goes
ON, the applied current is stored in the
A68ADN as the offset value.
Switch the required gain current to the channel
to be changed. Set the GAIN switch to the O
position. When the RUN LED goes ON, the
applied current is stored to the A68ADN as th
gain value.
