Relationship between the offset/gain setting and the digital output values

(1) Resolution
Resolution is obtained using the following expression:
• Voltage input
Resolution =
2 0 0 0 ( f o r 1 / 4 0 0 0 s e t t i n g ) / 4 0 0 0 (f o r 1 / 8 0 0 0 s e t t i n g ) / 6 0 0 0 ( f o r 1 / 1 2 0 0 0
• Current input
Resolution =
2 0 0 0 ( f o r 1 / 4 0 0 0 s e t t i n g ) / 4 0 0 0 (f o r 1 / 8 0 0 0 s e t t i n g ) / 6 0 0 0 ( f o r
/
(2) Relationship between the maximum resolution and the digital output value
If the setting of offset/gain values causes the following, the digital value does
not change in increments of "1".
(Gain value) – (Offset value)
Figures 3.4 and 3.5 show the relationship between the offset/gain settings and
the digital output values.
The offset and gain values in these figures are those in the voltage and current
input characteristics figures in Sections 3.3.1 and 3.3.2.
