If a fault occurs, try to correct it as described
– in this chapter
– in the chapters for the components installed
– in the documentation for the connected devices
– in the help system of the individual programs
If you do not manage to correct the problem, proceed as follows:
Ê Make a note of the steps and the circumstances that led to the fault. Also
make a note of any error messages displayed.
Ê Switch OFF the defective server blade or the system.
Ê Contact your customer service.

System beeps three times and stands still

The system beeps three times and stand still after you have switched ON your
system:
Connector for the Mouse Cable and for the Keyboard Cable are Mixed up
Ê Make sure that the mouse and the keyboard cable are correctly connected
to the rear side of the system (see figure 8 on page 32).
Ê Restart the system.
