SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read and understand the owner's manual and labels affixed to the machine. Learn its application
and limitations as well as the specific potential hazards. Retain these instructions for future
reference. The operator is responsible for following the warnings & instructions in this manual and
on the product.
Before each use, check that there is no damage to the spreader & that all fixings are tight & secure.
Replace or repair damaged parts. Use only approved parts. Unauthorised parts may be dangerous and will
invalidate the warranty.
Ensure that the operator is fully trained and competent to operate the spreader.
Ensure that all chemical safety instructions are adhered to when handling products for use in the
spreader.
Always distribute the load evenly.
Ensure all non-essential personnel keep a safe distance when the spreader is in use.
Keep hands and feet away from moving parts.
DO NOT overload the spreader - see Specification.
DO NOT leave unattended, especially when loaded.
DO NOT allow anybody to sit, stand, or ride on the spreader.
DO NOT allow untrained personnel to use the spreader.
DO NOT allow children to play in or climb onto the spreader.
DO NOT use on windy days when spreading seeds or herbicides.
DO NOT use the spreader for purposes other than for which it is designed.
DO NOT operate the spreader when you are tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating
medicines.
Avoid large holes and ditches when using the Trailer.
Be careful when operating on steep gradients (hills) the Trailer may tip over.
Always operate at a reduced speed in rough terrain, along creeks, ditches and on hillsides.
Do not operate close to creeks, ditches and public roads.
To avoid personal injury and/or equipment damage DO NOT EXCEED 10 MPH
WARNING! Failure to comply with these instructions may result in damage to the spreader or other
property and/or personal injury.
Safety Alert Symbol. Used to alert you to potential personal injury hazards. Obey all safety messages that
follow this symbol to avoid possible injury.
DANGER
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not avoided, will result in serious injury.
WARNING
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, could result in serious injury
CAUTION
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.
