ASSEMBLY STEP 1 • Install the impeller onto the gearbox and axle assembly. • Insert screw M4x20 through the impeller and the gearbox axle. • Use the hole on the axle that is nearest the gearbox, tighten the screw. • Place hopper upside down and install frame using screw M6x40.
ASSEMBLY STEP 2 • Install the wheel assembly frame on each side of the gearbox axle. • Take note of the position of the hole on the gearbox axle as shown in the diagram. • Insert the hex bolt M6x50 through wheel assembly frame and the hopper frame.

ASSEMBLY STEP 3 • Slide the axle bushing over the axle and into the axle bearing on both sides as shown. • Attach wheels to the axle and fix with a hex bolt M5x45. • Place flat washer ø16 onto one end of axle as shown and then fix the end caps onto both wheels.

ASSEMBLY STEP 4 • The upper handles have three positions for the operator’s comfort. The upper handle can be fitted to either of the two holes nearest the handle grip. • To fix, insert a hex bolt through the hole, the handle spacer and the other handle.

ASSEMBLY STEP 5 • Insert the pivot rod to the shut-off plate as shown. • Secure with a flat washer ø6 and a lock nut M6. • Following the instructions on the diagram, adjust the position of the two nuts on the threaded pole. •...
OPERATION Before filling the hopper, familiarise yourself with the operation of the spreader. • Using the Rate Setting Chart on Pages 11 and 12, obtain the correct setting for the material to be used. • Move the Stop bolt on the rate gauge to the correct setting. • Whilst pushing the spreader forward, pull the control lever back to the Stop bolt.
RATE SETTINGS Using Your Spreader Precision spreaders are designed to spread dry, powdered or granulated materials thinly and evenly over reasonably smooth surfaces. • Ensure that the material is dry and free-running. If in doubt pass it through a sieve with 3mm mesh to remove lumps.
