Follow the procedure described below to avoid damage to the cable connector or
the unit:
Do not connect the USB data transfer cable until told to do so in the instructions.

Insert the connector at the correct angle when connecting the USB data transfer

cable to the PC or to the unit.
Hold the connector, not the cable itself when disconnecting the cable.

Use the port designated during installation. If the cable is unplugged from the port

designated during installation and connected to a different port, the OS
(Operating System) will not recognize the new port.
Restart the PC and quit all resident applications before re-installing the software

if the installation does not complete successfully.
