Noise while trying to feed
paper.
Clicking noise as papers
travel around the paper
path.
Fan runs after paper flow
stops.
Noisy fan during paper flow.

Possible Cause
Network connection problem.
Unit's Internet Protocol (IP)
address does not match network
settings.
PC firewall is blocking the network
connection.
Outdated software.
Possible Cause
Dirty/worn feeder rollers.
Obstruction in paper path.
Outdated software.
Fan obstruction or defective fan.
Solution
Verify that two lights near the
Ethernet connector (back of unit)
indicate normal network activity.
One light on indicates a good
connection. The other blinks when
data is transmitted or received.
When the unit powers up, wait until
LCD display shows "Expert Series."
Press and hold the Start/Stop button
for a few seconds. The unit's IP
address scrolls across display.
Ensure IP address is the required
address for network.
Follow configuration instructions for
PC and/or firewall software.
Contact application provider to
ensure latest version software in
use.
Solution
Clean or replace feeder rollers.
Inspect paper path, remove debris.
Ensure front/rear image camera
removable walls and inner and outer
top covers are properly
positioned/seated.
Contact application provider to

The unit requires repair.
