Intended audience

This document is intended for system administrators, Hitachi Data Systems
representatives, and authorized service providers who install, configure, and
operate the VSP G200, G400, G600, G800 storage systems (VSP Gx00
models) and VSP F400, F600, F800 storage systems (VSP Fx00 models).
Readers of this document should be familiar with the following:
• Data processing and RAID systems and their basic functions.
• The VSP Gx00 models or VSP Fx00 models and the Hardware Reference
Guide for your storage system model.
• The Hitachi Command Suite software and the Hitachi Command Suite
User Guide, or the Hitachi Device Manager - Storage Navigator software
and the System Administrator Guide for Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform
Gx00 and Fx00 Models.
• Remote replication and disaster recovery configurations for enterprise
storage data centers.
