Chapter 3: The Handset Display

When first powered on, the handset screen will display the standby screen. This screen displays
a top row of system icons showing the status of the handset, followed by two lines for the
handset's extension number and name, a line for date and time display, and a line for the
Profile. If PTT is enabled (Avaya 3645 IP Wireless Handset model only) the default channel is
displayed. Softkey labels display on the bottom row. Use the Nav keys to display the second set
of softkeys.
While the handset is in use, display screens include:
Call status screen
Push-to-talk screen (Avaya 3645 IP Wireless Handset model only, if
available)
Message screen (if Open Application Interface server is used)
Menu screens.

The Call Status Screen

The call status screen has the following format:
