XIMEA Viewer
The XIMEA software package for Windows includes two viewer applications – xiViewer and newCCDtest.
5.3.3.1.
xiViewer
The xiViewer is a simple viewer application which is capable of setting basic camera parameters, controlling certain features,
displaying the video stream and saving snapshots.
xiVIewer is based on xiAPI and uses a subset of the parameters and functions that are available in xiAPI. The source code of
xiViewer is included in the XIMEA software package and can be used as a reference for custom application development.
Usage:
•
Start xiViewer with the shortcut located on your desktop or the executable found in C:\XIMEA\Examples\Bin
•
If multiple cameras are connected, a pop-up will appear, which offer the selection of a desired cameras by its serial number
•
The image acquisition starts in free-run mode and video stream is displayed
•
Right-Click inside the camera window opens the settings menu which is divided into sub-categories. Each category can be
extended by clicking on the respective button
•
Value fields can be manipulated by their adjacent sliders or by using the mouse wheel (up-down) while a field is selected.
Holding SHIFT or CTRL while using the mouse wheel will increase the increment of the value change (+-10, +-100).
