Note:
IP1 and IP2 are different but use the same subnet mask.
The labels "Switch Manager", "RSTP Configurator", "PRP Configurator", and "IED Configurator" refer to tools in the
Settings Application Software. You will need a computer loaded with the software to configure the elements of the
IP addresses with these labels. "SW2" refers to a dual in line (DIL) switch on the REB that needs to be set for some
protocols.
Procedures for setting the NIC IP address and the switch IP address are different. Procedures also vary according
to the chosen protocol. For some protocols, configuration needs to be carried out with the REB before installation
in its intended product. This is because access to the DIP switches shown in the figure, is required.
