Inspection
Check the float valve and valve seat to see if
any damage or blocking.
Check float valve for wearing, and check valve
seat face for wear, dirt.
Caution
In case of worn out or dirty, the float valve
and valve seat will not close tightly. The
fuel will overflow. A worn out or dirty
float valve must be replaced with a new
one to fix the problem.
Remove main jet, needle jet holder, needle jet,
slow jet and air adjustment screw.
Caution
Be careful not to damage jets and adjust
screw.
Before removing adjustment screw, turn it
all the way in and record the number of
circles.
Do not turn adjust screw forcefully, or the
valve seat may be damaged.
When airscrew is removed, please also
take out the inner washer with it.
Clean jets with Carburetor conditioner. Then
use compressed air to blow the dirt off.
