Ethernet interface

The SN4400 series has dual 10/100-Mbps Ethernet ports presented on two RJ-45 connectors supporting:
• 100Base-TX half-/full-duplex operation
• 10Base-TX half-/full-duplex operation
• Auto detection and fallback

Console port

The RS-232 port provides for initial configuration of the Model SN4400 series. The RS-232 port supports:
• Asynchronous data rate of 9600 bps, 2 bits, no parity, 1 stop bit, no flow control
• An RJ-45 connector with EIA-561 (RS-232) pinouts
• A management interface (such as HyperTerminal) that supports VT-100 terminals

FXS ports

The FXS ports provide for connection of up to 32 analog FXS devices on a 50- or 64-pin RJ-21X connector
located on the rear panel.

PPP and Frame-Relay support
