Configuring multiple thin clients

After you complete the configuration for a single NetVista thin client (see
"Configuring your thin client" on page 9), you can use this base terminal
configuration to configure your other NetVista thin clients. You can capture and
export the base terminal configuration to a server, and then install this
configuration to multiple NetVista thin clients.
This section provides information on the following configuration tasks:
v Setting up your configuration server
v Exporting the base terminal configuration
v Creating a registry update file
v Installing the exported configuration to multiple thin clients
v Updating with RDP auto-login
These configuration tasks enable you to set uniform terminal property settings and
terminal server connections for your NetVista thin clients. You can perform these
configuration tasks to control and manage the terminal configuration of multiple
NetVista thin clients.

Setting up your configuration server

To configure multiple NetVista thin clients, you need to set up a configuration
server. Your configuration server can be the same server as your update server.
Additionally, your configuration server must meet the following requirements:
v To import the base terminal configuration from your base NetVista thin client,

Exporting the base terminal configuration

After you set up your configuration server, you can export the base terminal
configuration of one NetVista thin client to your configuration server.

configuration to other NetVista thin clients that have the same system build.

Version Information box on the System tab.
