USING WITH PUBLIC NETWORK

Your M220E is directly connected to the public network and
allows you to access Operators services offered by subscrip-
tion.
Caller identification*
The Caller identification service allows you to identify a calling
party by number or by name (eventually) before establishing
the communication.
Depending on your subscription, on the first call, the clock
appears; the correct time and date are automatically set.
• As soon as a correspondent makes a call, the screen displays
your correspondent's number.
• If the correspondent appears in the directory, the screen dis-
plays your correspondent's number and name alternately.
• If the caller has protected his identity, the screen indicates
"xxxxxxx".
• If the correspondent has not been identified (foreign call or
no equiped system), the screen indicates UNKNOW.
• If an incident occurs during the identification of a caller
number, the screen indicates nothing.
Note: if you meet this problem repeatedly, please contact
your Operator.
The unidentified calls are not stored in the log (see
page 26).
