Starting up the controller

Connect the receiver to the PC before starting up (see
"Connection", page 5).

Select [Programs] from the [Start] menu.

Select [Sony Scanning Receiver Controller] in [Sony
Scanner].
The power will turn on automatically on the receiver.
The receiver goes into the PC control mode, and
"PC-cnt" will appear in the display of the receiver.
To turn off the power on the receiver manually
Click [POWER] in the main window. Click again to turn
the power on again.

Quitting the controller

Select [Exit] from the [File] menu.
Notes
• If you start up the controller with the receiver
connected to the PC, all the buttons on the receiver will
be ineffective.
• When using the receiver connected to the PC, the
backlight of the display window of the receiver will not
light up even when using external power.
