Welcome to the world of PC controlled scanning
reception. This software application controls the ICF-
SC1PC scanning receiver from a PC. Here are some of the
capabilities and features you will discover with the new
scanning receiver controller.
• Control your scanning receiver ICF-SC1PC from a PC.
• Supports all major functions of the receiver:
— Scanning options: Programmable Scanning, Memory
Scanning, Service Scanning, and Intelligent Memory
Scanning
— Direct tuning, Preset tuning, Intelligent Memory
tuning
— Priority Scanning
— SKIP function
— Adjustable scan pause time
— Adjustable frequency step and detection mode
• Expanded data handling capability:
— 20 Programmable Scanning ranges
— As many Memory preference files as you want (300
channels per file)
— As many Skip preference files as you want (100
frequencies per file)
• Import/export capability – Read data from the receiver
to save as a file. Write data of a file of your choice in the
receiver (Programmable Scanning range data, Memory
preference data, or the Skip preference data).
• Search frequencies using the supplied CD-ROM
nationwide frequency database with over 3 million
records. Preset the database search results in the preset
memory and use them to scan or to tune. You can also
save search results in a file.
