Troubleshooting

Cannot operate the receiver from the controller.

• The receiver is not securely connected with the PC.

n Check connection and connect securely.

• The COM port is not assigned to the serial port.

n Check COM port setup (Double click System in the

Control Panel. Click the Device Manager tab and

confirm the properties for the COM port).

The controller quits unexpectedly.

• If you are using Windows 95 version 4.00.950, the

controller may quit during long continuous scanning

operation with the following messages, due to a

software bug of this version of Windows 95;

"Out of storing space"

"Out of memory"

n Start up the controller again. If this continues to be

a problem, update Windows 95.

Cannot start up the controller.

• Your PC may show the following messages and the

controller may not start up when there is insufficient

available memory,:

"Out of memory"

"Invalid picture"

"Error loading from file"

n Quit one or more other application(s) and start up

the controller again.
