Repeat steps 3 and 4 if you wish to define other bands.

Click [OK] on the Programmable Scan Preferences
dialog.
Notes
• All settings are NOT saved until you click [OK] in the
Programmable Scan Preferences dialog (step 6).
• You cannot change the Programmable Scanning
preferences while running it.
• There are no restrictions on the letters/characters you
can use for the title of the programmable range. The
title of the band must be within 20 letters.
• If you have changed the detection mode to WFM when
you are in AM or NFM with the frequency step set to 25
kHz or less, the frequency step will automatically
change to 50 kHz. If the current frequency is not a step
frequency, it will automatically change to a step
frequency.
*You cannot use the 4 or $ buttons to change the frequency value
until you have typed in a valid frequency (within the range of 25
to 1300 MHz).
To cancel programming of a band
Click [Cancel] in the band data dialog.
To revert band ranges to default
Click [Default].
Notes
• Note that by clicking [Default], programming data of
the band will be lost and returns to default setting
(shown in "Default frequency range of the bands", page
14).
• You cannot save the Programmable Scanning
preferences data in a file.
