Defining the programmable scanning
frequency range
You can program the frequency range of each of the 20
bands.
Define the range by specifying the lower and the upper
limits of the range. You can also specify the frequency
step and the detection mode.

Click [Scan Stop] in the main window if the receiver is
running Programmable scan.

Click [PROGRAM] under PREFERENCES in the main
window (or select [Programmable Scan Preferences]
from the [Preferences] menu).
The Programmable Scan Preferences dialog will
appear.

Click the tab that contains the band you wish to define
(1-10: Bands 1 to 10, or 11-20: Bands 11 to 20), then
click the band of your choice.
The band data dialog will appear.

Select the options to your choice and click [OK]:
Type in the title (optional).
Specify the upper and lower limit frequencies by
typing the frequency digits, or by clicking 4 or $*.
Select a detection mode from the pull-down menu
(NFM, WFM, or AM).
Select a frequency step from the pull-down menu
(NFM or AM: 5, 10, 12.5, 25, 50, 100 kHz / WFM: 50 or
100 kHz).
The display will return to the Programmable Scan
Preferences dialog.
